BITSAT Pattern
BITSAT is an online examination, where you will be required to sit in front of the computer and answer the questions presented to you in the monitor through keyboard or mouse.
The question paper will be in an objective type format with 150 questions and each with four alternatives. Each question is for three marks and negative marking (one mark penalty) for each wrong answer however there is no penalty if you do not answer a question. So it would be best not to attend a question if you are not sure of the answer. The examination is for the duration of three hours without any breaks.
There are four sections in the question paper — Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics and Proficiency & Logical Reasoning. Once you answer all the questions, students have a choice to attempt twelve extra questions if there is time.
After the test is completed, the computer will publish the results with your individual score. The same will also be published in the BITS website once all the tests are completed.
