Introduction
As the name suggests the Chaudhur Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance test is the qualifying examination, to seek admission for the B.Tech program offered by Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology that is managed by the University and has its campus within the University.
The B.Tech program offered under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology by the University has the following streams – Electronics & Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering.
Brief History
Chaudhur Charan Singh University is located in Meerut in the western Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1965, this University has a sprawling campus of 222 acres that includes – playgrounds, botanical gardens, herb gardens and experimental fields. Amenities such as gymnasium, libraries, hostels, auditorium, guesthouse, medical center residential block for faculty and employees are also available within this University.
In 1969, the Chaudhur Charan Singh University became the first institution in India to introduce M Phil program. Since then, the University has steadily introduced new innovative programs and courses with a new modernized syllabus.
Today, there are totally five faculties with 22 UGC sponsored programs and 35 self-financed otherwise known as job oriented courses that are offered by the University. And overall, there are 252 professional colleges, 109 regular colleges and one constituent college affiliated to this University.
Chaudhuri Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance Test Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Chaudhur Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance test is that the student should had passed their 12th standard examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Government. Students who have appeared for the 12th standard examinations and are awaiting results are also eligible to take this test.
Students belonging to the OBC category should secure 50% in aggregate in their 12th exam and those who belong to SC/ST category must secure 40% to appear for this examination.
Students who are seeking admission in the agricultural engineering stream should have taken agricultural chemistry and agricultural mathematics apart from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in their 12th standard.

The application form for the B.Tech entrance examination can be bought from the Registrar’s office in the University’s Administration block.

Chaudhuri Charan Singh Entrance Test Examination Structure and Pattern
Chaudhur Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance examination is based on the 12th standard syllabus and will have an objective type pattern. There will be 100 questions with multiple-choice answers. Each question carries four marks each. Negative marking of one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The medium of language will be English and the duration of the paper will be for two hours.
The examination is normally held at centers in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Saharanpur. The details about the examination centers will be given in the application form.
Important Dates and Schedule for the Chaudhuri Charan Singh B.Tech Entrance
The application form for the entrance examination will be available from the first week of February. The completed application form needs to be submitted to the administration office by last week of March. The examination is conducted during the last week of March. Admission Through Chaudhuri Charan Singh B.Tech Entrance Test
Admission to the Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology College is as per the reservation of seats prescribed by the government. Students can check the official website (http://www.ccsuniversity.ac.in) the exam results. Students selected in the entrance examination will have to go through Group Discussion and a Personal Interview process. Selected students will be asked to pay the fees immediately in the University office.
